Project Baala is an innovative menstrual health solutions provider working to end period poverty and period illiteracy while generating employment through: 1. Sustainable Absorbents: Providing innovative reusable sanitary napkins that are comfortable, affordable, sustainable and hygienic. The focus is on constant innovation via feedback cycles from the community. 2. Awareness Modules: Developed via direct conversations with 25,000+ rural women and delivered with elements of story-telling, poetry and theatre, the modules ensure high engagement and learning. 3. Livelihood model: A system to employ village-level women entrepreneurs who are spokespeople & salespeople for Baala, generating livelihood for themselves and the organisation. Baala is on a mission to ensure every menstruator has access to affordable and sustainable menstrual hygiene solutions.
